Affiliate Disclosure
Codeswap is free to use and supported partly by advertising and partly by affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means, in plain terms, so you always know what you are looking at.
What an affiliate link is
Some tools link out to third-party products that are genuinely relevant to what the tool does — for example, a GPU-memory calculator may link to a cloud-GPU provider, or a token-cost calculator may link to an API provider. If you click one of those links and later sign up or buy, Codeswap may earn a small commission. It never costs you anything extra; the price you pay is the same as going there directly.
How they are marked
Affiliate links are always disclosed at the point of the link, never hidden. Every affiliate link:
- sits inside a clearly labelled box that says it is an affiliate link;
- carries the
rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute, so it is honest to search engines too; - opens in a new tab and points to the provider's own site.
How we choose what to link
We only place an affiliate link where the product is a sensible next step for that specific tool. Pure utilities — formatters, converters, colour pickers, date tools and the like — carry no affiliate links at all, because there is nothing genuinely relevant to recommend. Whether a company has an affiliate program has no bearing on whether a tool is built, what it says, or how its data ranks a product. The tools and their results come first; commerce is secondary.
Editorial independence
Rankings, benchmark scores, pricing tables and comparisons on Codeswap are based on published data and documented methodology, not on commercial relationships. A model or product is never ranked higher because of an affiliate arrangement. Where our data could affect a purchase, verify the current figures on the provider's own site before deciding — see the Disclaimer.
Advertising
Separately from affiliate links, Codeswap shows ads via Google AdSense on content pages. How those work, and the cookies involved, is covered in the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
